The amount of Life Skill Mastery you have is affected by your Life Skill level and Mastery gear. The gear can be enhanced to raise your Life Skill Mastery, using Black Gems and Concentrated Black Gems . Your Life Skill Mastery is displayed in the Life Skill tab in your character profile window (P).

Gathering is one of the most active life skills in the game but players might find it preferable to fishing especially if they're looking for Black Crystal Shards. Because it can be more lucrative than farming when it comes to getting lucky with those Shards.

Currently, the game has come to this point with many players who are more into life skills. They have over 2000 masters mainly gathering and as we well know the maximum mastery is 2000 and there are no additional benefits for having over 2000 masters.

How do you get black stone armor for beginners in BDO?

You can level up your character and use the seasonal character levelling chest to get more . You can open the chest multiple times and it gives you ridiculous amounts of beginner blackstones. For reference it is a blue chest that should be sitting in your inventory. Hope this helps!

Getting EXP for your Mastery Rank can be done through numerous methods, but is generally a lot slower than levelling up your character. Here's a few ways to increase it: Levelling up individual characters without any Socket Types assigned to any Module Slots . Completing missions for the first time.

Skills can be enhanced to have additional effects such as an increased amount of hits, increased range, etc. When a skill reaches a certain level, you can spend silver to be able to enhance the skill . You can set the enhancement by pressing on its icon, however, you can only select one enhancement per skill.

How do you increase max mana in BDO?

Your maximum Health and Mana can be increased by eating food or drinking . Each level will give you an extra 10 Health and Mana with a maximum of 55 levels. You can only eat or drink once every 30 minutes.

What does skill mastery do in BDO?

Separate from the existing Life Skill levels, Life Skill Mastery is a different value measuring the degree of your individual Life Skills . The higher the Life Skill Mastery, the better the rewards adventurers can obtain for their Life Skills. Life Skill Mastery increases according to your Life Skill level.

Black Gems were introduced into BDO with the Life Mastery patch on 9-4-19. They are used to enhance Life Mastery Accessories and Life Mastery Clothes. Note that Life Mastery Tools are enhanced by Black Stone and not Black Gems.

Black Gems are unique because they don’t use the traditional Failstack system.

BDO Black Gem Tiers

Black Gem has 3 different tiers after processing with other materials.

Black Gem Fragment ➔ Black Gem ➔Concentrated Magical Black Gem

Black Gem Fragment (T1)

Black Gem Fragments are used to create Black Gems and then upgraded again to Concentrated Magical Black Gems.

Obtain Black Gem Fragment:

Gathering blood, meat, and hide give the best drop rates for Black Gem Fragments. The best location to obtain Black Gem Fragments is Behr, hunting Elk.
Other Gathering at a lower rate:
- Hoe Gathering
- Mining
- Barehanded Gathering (excludes Golem gathering)
- Tree Sap Collecting
- Lumbering
- Hunting with a Matchlock/Sniper Rifle and then butchering will provide Black Gem Fragments as well.

NOTE:The rates of fragments from chopping/sapping trees and mining is lower than butchering/bleeding animals or gathering herbs.

According tobdolytics.comthe elk located south of Behr can be gathered for about 150 Black Gem Fragments per hour..

Perform Simple Alchemy by pressing L key > Simple Alchemy. Each recipe creates one Black Gem Fragment.

When a Life Mastery Accessory fails enhancement, the accessory is destroyed and the Black Gem is lost.

Safer Enhancement:

Optionally, Cron Stones can safeguard a Life Mastery Accessory from being destroyed from failed enhancement.
If the enhancement fails, there is a 60% chance that the enhancement level will be maintained and a 40% chance that the enhancement level will decrease.
