📜 Exploring the Depths of Allama Iqbal's Poetry 🌌Who freed mankind from slavery?Who settled my Kaaba with the Jabins?Who attached my Quran to my breasts?They were yours, but what are you? Hold your hands and wait for the future!These lines from Allama Iqbal's poetry reflect a deep sense of inquiry and contemplation about historical and spiritual matters. In the first two lines, Iqbal questions the removal of falsehood and the emancipation of humanity from slavery. These themes signify a quest for truth and freedom.For example, the removal of falsehood from the second page could symbolize a purification of knowledge or the eradication of misleading ideas. The freedom from slavery might represent the liberation of individuals from various forms of oppression.The reference to settling Kaaba with the Jabins and attaching the Quran to the breasts signifies a connection to Islamic heritage and the importance of spiritual grounding. It could imply a desire for a harmonious fusion of faith and worldly affairs.In the last two lines, the poet urges introspection, questioning the identity and purpose of the individual. This post is a clear reminder on practicing mindfulness. Being mindful of yourself, consciously pay attention to your thoughts and feelings without placing any judgments upon them. Especially let the negative thoughts and feelings rest on you rather than in you so that you can unload them as the positive ones come! Mindfulness will help alter your attitude and how it relates to your thoughts, such that they are less likely to influence your behavior.Enjoy your day being mindful!

This is a much better expression. It is so much more liberating and powerful."I am sad” is like a label, it can become defining and part of you. Whereas, saying that sadness is on you, suggests something that you can discard when you are ready, like a blanket. In very difficult times, it may be that that blanket is nearby.But it’s ok to throw it off and laugh and enjoy life again, knowing you can reach for it should you need to. We create emotions even if it sometimes feels that they just happen to us. So, we can also change them when the time is right. Understanding how we create our emotions won’t stop the difficult ones from happening, but it will enable you to manage them.
