Ingredients needed for Apple Cinnamon Sangria:

  • Red Apple
  • Yellow Apple
  • Green Pear
  • Red Wine
  • Spiced Rum
  • Cinnamon Liquor
  • Apple Juice concentrate
  • Ginger Ale

How to Make Fall Sangria:

I started by chopping up 1 red apple, 1 yellow apple, and 1 pear. I prefer to cut them into small bite-size pieces so that when I am drinking the sangria they are small enough to float in your mouth and eat! I also leave a few slices for garnish!

Add those diced pieces to a pitcher and add your favorite red wine {the WHOLE bottle!}, apple juice concentrate, and rum. Mix it up until the apple juice concentrate is dissolved.

Now for the Cinnamon, add in your Fireball! I started with about 1/4 cup and after you sip you get the cinnamon aftertaste. I heart cinnamon so I went and added another 1/4 cup to make 1/2 cup total.

I suggest starting small tasting and adding if necessary. You can’t take it out! I recommend letting the liquor and fruit chill together in the fridge for an hour and then adding the Ginger Ale right before you are ready to serve.

You can also omit the ginger ale so that it’s not a sparkling sangria but I really think it makes it refreshing and the ginger with the spices of fall is just a wonderful marriage. I would marry this drink.

Thanksgiving SangriaRecipe

This co*cktail is fall in a glass and makes the perfect drink to sip on while you are making your Thanksgiving meal. Apples and cinnamon scream Thanksgiving and the ginger ale makes this light enough to sip on all day and still be able to function and not burn your meal, lol!

WOW! Just made a one glass test of this…deelish! Thanks for making this available. I didn’t have the apple juice concentrate, and since I was only making a glass to test, I added simple syrup…and it was still great! Going to make this for my thanksgiving get together and will make to directions then…the “fireball” is the bomb….pun intended LOL
